Plain HTTP

Post by Raion-Fox » Fri May 25, 2018 3:52 pm

For those inquiring, we've hit some snags with allowing plain HTTP on the wiki and forums without breakage.

There's some custom scripting we'll need to implement to get it working right, likely, and that's gonna take time to bugfix.

We can't discard https altogether, though, nor can we enable SSLv3 due to POODLE exploits being common.

It'll be worked on soon, but it's simply not the highest thing on our priority lists at the moment.

For those interested, plain HTTP should be enabled now. It's not automatic, however, so you will need to:

Clear your browser cache

And specify http or https in the browser. We're working on a more elegant solution, but for now, it'll allow our guys without SSL to access the site.
