(SOLVED) Problem setting up a USB serial adapter under macOS High Sierra version: 10.13.4

Post by Irinikus » Mon May 28, 2018 2:36 pm

Today I bought a USB serial adapter to enable me to link my Mac Pro to my Tezro's console port.

Its proving to be more difficult than I thought!

The device is registering on the system:

And I have installed the relevant driver software:

But the device is not usable:

Any help in sorting out this problem would be much appreciated!

By the way, there's a nice app called "Serial" that has support for most USB to serial adapters built in. It's pretty quality in my experience. It does cost $30 after the trial, however.
