Well not to mention that South Africa's major news stories tend to revolve around the corrupt government and the crime. Pretoria and Johannesburg I've heard are unsafe to travel in at night.

Ever since 1994 we've unfortunately been on a downward spiral and there's a common denominator here! (There's no place in this world for people who don't pay their taxes, regardless of what racial or ethnic group they belong to!) [we only need 10% of the current population in our country - the rest need to go. This is probably also true for the world population as a whole - only about 500 million are needed world wide]

Our undoing has definitely been engineered, same as the refugee crisis in Europe, it’s all coming together.

Honestly I believe that the your problems in the US are just about to start, as the country is simply carrying too much debt and the world is currently arranging itself in such a way as to move off the Petrodollar, and this will have dire consequences for the US’s financials in the future.

The only real positive of living in SA, is that if WW3 breaks out (which is ever increasing possibility by the way) it will just be another sunny day down here in SA. (Being strategically insignificant has it’s merits)

In all honesty, a global regime change is immanent. (A global conflict is due)

Unfortunately I believe you're right. Communism is strong with people in my generation and we're suffering from constant calls to censor or even outright ban conservative opinions in the US.

I'm definitely a bit more conservative than the average person living in the US and I'm far more pessimistic about the future of the US. I'm not going to pretend I have all the answers, or that I know the answers to the problems of the poor, the ethnic minorities etc. Because I don't. But when the people calling for revolution are mostly upper class millennials who stand to lose the most of their way of life if we go the route they are pushing, you know you're dealing with a bad situation. A revolution will fail to solve the problems of ethnic minorities in the country, ultimately, so it'll prove worthless.

Yeah, South Africa is also from what I hear pretty beautiful as far as the wilderness goes. If war heats up I'm probably either going to Asia or South America to a country less than likely to be involved in the wars.

Man this took a dark turn...

Sorry guys. Umm, I'm going on vacation from work until Wednesday? Down to Virginia Beach (I live pretty far from there) where I'll be spending some time in the Crowne Plaza (Credit card points!) and having a merry time until I go back to work Wednesday and hunker down and prepare for the Christmas holidays (Pawn shops get BUSY that time of year)

I do apologize if I sounded dramatic in my previous post, but I do believe that we are all in serious danger at the moment, as the world as it is today is not sustainable and the cracks are beginning to show.

Tempers are flaring all over the world, and all that’s needed at this point is a small spark to set it all off.

In the South African context, the current government has not been voted in by the tax paying population, and the tax payers, regardless of demographic are really unhappy with the way in which we are being governed at the moment.

There are currently only about 5.5 million registered tax payers, paying for a population of 55 million in South Africa, and all that the poor want are handouts! (Who pays for these handouts, and how will simply giving out handouts help our economy in the long run?)

Raion-Fox, you’re a good guy and I apologize if I affended you in any way, but our current situation over here makes me extremely upset.

The device is meant to be a sort of low-cost video thing for composite cameras. Basically, something that sits in between a device with a video output and a device with a video input and does any number of things to the video as it goes by. Each video feed is processed and output by a cheapo ARM SBC, and the board they connect to has chips to input the video over the SBC's USB pins (eMPIA EM2860 + Philips video input processor, like in those cheap EasyCap dongles). It's meant to be scalable if more cameras are added (you can stick more boards full of SBCs onto its backplane).

Designed for a club I am a member of at my school. Probably not very useful in most situations today, but we use analog TVs and cameras because they are cheap or even free, so processing video feeds isn't necessarily as easy as "just ffmpeg it".

I too believe the ANC is a bunch of terrorists. Especially that POS Jacob Zuma. I didn't get offended or disagree with you, I agree with you!

I just acknowledge as a Southern European living 99% of his life in the US that I'm not the most unbiased, nuanced or knowledgeable person when it comes to the goings on in the world but I do know that handouts aren't a good thing. And the fact that end masse Afrikaners are fleeing is a pretty indicative fact of the problem.

I'm a cynic and I believe communism sucks ass and needs to fucking die. That's why I feel that Zimbabwe is a horrible place to be, both in the 1980s and now. The new government is going to make the same mistakes as Mugabe did. Nothing good comes of ethnic nationalism that oppresses another group, be that group Africans, Palestinians, Afrikaners, or whatever.

I completely agree. Marxism, Communism, Leninism, Stalinism, Socialism, Progressiveism, whateverIsm is total bullshit. It's followers are deeply deluded and they will destroy this civilization if they are allowed to continue. It is very troubling that so many people of my generation(millenials) seem to believe in this hippie nonsense. I absolutely loathe any of that stuff. No one in their right mind wants to live under that sort of system - A system that resulted in the needless deaths of somewhere in the neighborhood of 100 million innocent civilians(non combatants) in the mid 20th century. Communist rulers like Stalin and Mao are easily some of the most bloodthristy people that ever lived, they have the blood of millions on their hands.

Millennials actually think the world will stop being evil if they get on stage with a guitar and a piano and sing hippie songs. No different than the hippies of the 1960's with their peace love and understanding nonsense. North Korea is not going to stop it's nuclear ambitions just because the Americans go away. The forces of evil in this world are going to do whatever they want unless someone stops them from doing so. They don't do it because they are being oppressed, they do it because they are evil and they want to do evil things.

ANC are terrorists and communists. They did some extremely bad things themselves, like brutally executing their own people for not going along with their schemes. They have royally screwed South Africa and made the productive part of the population leave in large numbers to avoid all the violence and chaos. This site explains the problems in South Africa quite well https://www.ourcivilisation.com/die.htm . Nelson Mandela was a communist supporter as well and very much involved in the mess, despite the shining image of him presented by the media.

Antifa is a terrorist group too and I don't care what no snotnose communist loving twat thinks about that, because it's true. That doesn't make us horrible people to recognize that either, despite the idiotic claims of a character on Nekochan who had some very hateful comments towards anyone who dared to even insinuate that they didn't agree with any part of the socialist agenda. The arrogance of these people is astounding. Unfortunately the topic got locked before I saw it.

It's also funny how these people are so quick to call anyone who expresses disapproval for socialist idelogy as a "nazi", while completely failing to recognize what a nazi is. A national socialist. Therefore making the purveyors of socialism the actual nazis. But it never dawns on them.

The most hilarious kind of political correctness I've seen so far, is the workplace I'm in changing the name of dishwashing to "aquatic technician" to make people feel better about the job.

This is a good site to understand the problems that exist in our society today. https://www.ourcivilisation.com

Our troll has been banned and scrubbed from the site, and given an IP ban. Nobody mention him by name, do not respond to his emails or PMs, let me know of any alt accounts he posts. He has threatened users and staff here with doxx posting. Please keep all of this out of the general chat thread for the future, refer to the nekochan thread on his antics and behaviour.

A good friend of mine did a Semester Abroad in South Africa back when it was still minority rule, and I ended up becoming rather fascinated by the goings-on in the southern tip of Africa. Another good friend was working for Space Research Corporation when they were secretly funneling GC45 artillery rounds to the South African Defense Force that was fighting Russian-backed insurgents in Angola who were incurring into northern Namibia (though then it was still known as Southwest Africa). I read a crapton of books; "Cry, the Beloved Country," Michener's "The Covenant," all of Nadine Gordimer's books, "The Zulu Wars," all proof that truth is stranger than fiction.
Project: Temporarily lost at sea
Plan: World domination! Or something...
