Hi SGI'ers,

I have an LSI dual 4GB FC board in my O350 installation (from hinv):

Integral SCSI controller 6: Version Fibre Channel LS949X Port 0
Integral SCSI controller 7: Version Fibre Channel LS949X Port 1

I recall that I specifically got the LSI board, as on Nekochan it had QLogic 4GB FC as not supported.

I had the QLogic 2GB FC board in my Octane2 setup and this run fine via shoehorn adaptor or PCI cage.

I had previously done quite a bit of performance testing with 2GB FC and Octane that was posted on Nekochan, but have never tested the LSI board, as I moved all my FC to SAS.

I got my LSI board from scsi4me.com they have a lot of older FC and SCSI stuff that you cannot find else where.

Cheers,

jwhat.
