What happened to the irix FTP site
Looks like lots of the content has vanished and I don’t have access to a few folders.  Is it currently being overhauled?

RE: What happened to the irix FTP site
Wait I'd make some changes in the FTP and generate few problems in permissions, sorry my apologize . No content deleted, I'm work to test all software that you upload, repack and move to final folders.
Some times I delete some files because find a better compilation or better installer , for example few days before we have few Maya 3 installers and Maya 3 plugins in the FTP, after check all of them I'd join all to one package and upload replacing the old Maya 3 files with one that works.

Our final goal is test all software available in the FTP and if possible storage all "in a working state" ( you know what I want say ), allocate duplicated software or corrupted files is not an good idea, but please be patient , we need time to test and repackage, your help with uploads and your help testing software is very apreciated but after this we need the help of Raion to allocate all software in the best convenient folder or categories, Raion have his own vision about the ftp structure and we should be respect it, remember that he provides the FTP storage.

Try to fight about this things is a waste time, all of us want the same, rescue and recover lost SGI software to preserve , enjoy and explore as historical archive.
We live last 20 or 30 years without and FTP with lot of software in working state like this, I think that nothing will happen if it takes a few more days to reorganize it conveniently. Big Grin
